8vo 8" - 9" tall; Decorative brown cloth with embossed design and black design and lettering on front and spine. The spine is lightly bumped at top and bottom. There is a split in the cloth at the spine/back turn 1 in. At top and 4 in at the mid-point. The corners have been bumped and have light wear. Front hinge is lightly cracked. The spine is very slighlty cocked. Gift inscription on front end page with date: Dec. 25, 1887. Pages are clean with light aging.
